К чтению обсуждений на этом форуме не предлагать, все уже 300 раз прочитано, просто не понятно во многих случаях как подбираются значения переменных sysctl. Прошу дельного совета.

Канал приходит 100Мбит/с. В часы пик, абоненты, которые на тестовое время переведены на этот сервак, прокачивают его максимум на 25Мбит/с(пробовали тестировать в обход ng_car). Подскажите пожалуйста в чем может быть проблема, почему не можем прокачать этот канал?

Раньше тюнингом FreeBSD не занимались, все было на аппаратных роутерах.

Поменять прокладку между креслом и монитором не предлагать :-)

ng_car шейпит rate_limit-ом тарифы от 1 до 10 мбит/с

=0, для начала.

 

Там ещё 2/3 из ядра можно выкинуть спокойно, тк модулями прекрасно работает.

И данные нужно было показывать в момент когда упёрлись в 25мегабит, а не после перезагрузки - у меня дома пакетрейт выше, и по памяти статистика совсем скромная.

Там ещё и устройства далеко не все нужны, и почти все из них можно модулями грузить.

Фаервол проде тоже можно выкинуть, я не помню опция с форвардом что именно делает. Нетграф прекрасно грузится модулями сам. Диверт нужен для натд или очень редкого софта.

Вот что было 10 минут назад, ограничение по тарифам отключал, т.е. в обход ng_car. swi1:net загружен был максимум 1%, загрузка ядер нулевая.

Не можем понять. либо сервер затюнили, либо провайдер не дадает причем дофига.

Торрентом попробуйте прогружать, пока у вас пакетрейт оч низкий.

 

А может и вправду у вестоящего провайдера недосдача.

первое правило, убрать мух от котлет. что тут делает мускл, с апачами и забиксами?? какой тут может быть тюненг.

 

разумнее и проще использовать ipfw nat.

включить direct isr, fastforwarding включить обратно. ядро оставить как в первом посте.

для вывода всех процессов "покурить" man top.

 

дуал*P3 c двумя em вольготно себя чувствовать на таком трафике будет

Вобщем выяснилось, почему не могли прокачать 100Мбитный канал, оказалось что у прова на порту стояло автоопределение скорости. Вот отсюда и все пироги.

Кто нибудь может объяснить что за ошибки 32 Bucket, 64 Bucket и 128 Bucket?

Кто нибудь может объяснить что за ошибки 32 Bucket, 64 Bucket и 128 Bucket?
