не могу понять, почему такая нагрузка 86.87% irq257: em1 ???

 

какие дрова для сетевушек можно еще попробовать ?

не совсем понятно, почему нагрузка по прерываниям до 90% , а кол-во прерываний до 350 ??!!

Читать умеете ? там был fastforwarding а не forwarding.

 

Отключите net.isr.direct и увидите сколько там реально при 350 прерываниях, при включенном у вас в первом прерывании весь swi:net сидит.

как-бы это сложно реализуемо в одночасье избавиться от pptp, переходим постепенно на "прямое" включение (реал ип по eth)

У меня нет опыта с 7.3-STABLE и mpd5 на yandex драйвере или igb(4). По отдельности все работает, но как оно себя поведет именно в Вашем случае без тестов

сказать сложно.

онбордные сетевушки не используют igb(4)

там em дрова

попробую посмотреть новые дрова от интела

 

хмм, на интеле последннийе дрова 6.9.21

82574L вообще мерзкая штука, а у Вас еще и сочетание софта отвратительное. Попробуйте перенести нагрузку на em0, может полегчает малость...

ну это смотря для кого оптимальным. Я бы поставил яндексовский драйвер для начала. Но вам советовать не могу,так как результат непредсказуем

на 7ке свежие драйвера не пробовал, на 8ке - начало распараллеливать. И опять же pppoe по ядрам не делится.

Для PPPOE можно попробовать запустить mpd5 на двух интерфейсах - должен разложить...

ng_queue0-7 считал, что это и есть распараллеливание

Судя по нагрузке - трафика почти нет. Распараллеливание надо смотреть на сильно нагруженном сервере.
