x6724/x6748 SFP enhanced link detection method

Symptom:

Customer requested enhancement to improve link detection and convergence associated with these line cards using fiber SFP interfaces.

 

Conditions:

This improvement is on Ant24/48 board with fiber SFP.

 

Workaround:

This ddts is an improvement. no need work around.

 

Further Problem Description:

The improvement is increasing number of ports polled per polling from 1 to 24 ports. Also adjust polling freq to 40msec to avoid cpu utilization high. for cupper Copper SFP, poll one port per polling. For worst case of link detection, on full 48 ports with copper SFPs, 40ms * 48 ports ~= 2 sec.

 

пофикшен в 12.2(33)SRC3 а у меня SRC4

я вот думаю или они опять сломали в SRC4 или что-то здесь не так

коллеги просьба у кого есть такие платы и та же ветка SRC, присутствует аналогичная проблема или нет?
