firmware 3.01

установлен один модуль 2 100мб порта в слот 0

 

пытаюсь попасть в ethernet port view

 

в доке описано что необходимо из system-view

набрать interface { interface_type interface_num | interface_name }

соответсвенно набираю

interface ethernet 0/0

попадаю в interface view (определяю это по отсутствию команды port )

что в общем то не противоречит документации

interface type number [ .sub-number ]

 

что же необходимо набрать для того что бы попасть в port view ?

Нам тоже "подфортило" заиметь устройство к которому только PDF =(

Модель 5231 с 2-мя [2xFastEthernet] модулями:

попасть в порт-view можно или по имени: interface Ethernet0

или по типу и номеру порта: interface Ethernet 0 (что, вы и сами написали)

 

Вас смутило, что интерфейс один, а порта 2? Порты совершенно независимы, т.е. interface view "EthernetX" и есть то место, где конфигурится конкретный порт.

 

P.S.

Чисто из любопытства, покажите "display version". У нас так:

меня смущает что как я только не набираю и с помощью и без помощи контекстной справки попадаю в

interface view.

Сейчас пробую загрузиться с более старой версии прошивки (2.1)

interface view это и есть контекст конкретного порта ethernet (которых у вас 2 [в виде одного модуля в слоте №0])

сейчас уже вставил все платы.

впечатление такое, что я совершенно не понимаю идеологии и не могу описать своей проблемы.

если совсем конкретно то пытаюсь перевести порт в режим hybrid. пытаюсь использовать комманду

port hybrid pvid vlan 2 и получаю ответ что комманды нет. в списке доступных команд комманды port тоже нет.

приведу два куска доки:

Purpose Use the interface command to enter Ethernet port view.

Syntax interface { interface_type interface_num | interface_name }

Parameters interface_type Port type. It can be Ethernet only.

interface_num Port number.

interface_name Port name, in interface_type interface_num format.

Example

Enter the view of Ethernet 1/0/1 port.

Description

Before you can configure an Ethernet port, you must enter its view first with this command.

Purpose Use the interface command to enter the specified interface view or create a

logical interface or subinterface.

Use the undo interface command to delete a specified logical interface or subinterface.

Syntax interface type number [ .sub-number ]

undo interface type number [ .sub-number ]

Parameters type Interface type. Table 1 lists the interfaces that VRP

supports so far.

number Interface number. VRP numbers the interfaces

separately by interface type, with the numbers of each

type of interfaces beginning at 0 or 1.

sub-number Subinterface number, which is separated from the

main interface number by a dot (.).

Example

Enter the Ethernet interface view in system view.

[3Com ]interface ethernet 0/0/0

[3Com -Ethernet0/0/0]

Switch from Ethernet0/0/0 view to the view of the subinterface Serial0/0/0.1.

из этого и еще из того что для одних команд указано interface view а для других port view, делаю вывод, что это два разных режима. судя по доступным командам я попадаю все время в interface view.

контекстная помощь все время выводит на синтаксис interface Ethernet 0/0

 

еще любопытное наблюдение: в доке везде фигурирует нумерация через 2 слэша а у меня проходит только через 1.

С сабинтефейсами не приходилось возиться. У меня, к сожалению, интерфейсы все подняты и трудятся. Побаловаться нечем. Доки и устройства все же немного разные...

Ведь не просто, когда рядом нет опытных владельцев сабжа. Вот еще одно место, где чувствуется стоимость владения...
