Вообщем есть софтовый рутер с 4 гигабитными сетевками 2 Broadcom (bge - встроенные) 2 em - на одной плате воткнуты в PCI-X разьем. bge юзаются для линков с провайдерами (100 mbit). EM (1000TX) - 2 сегмента локалки.

 

Трабла в следующем при при включении DEVICE_POLLING каждая EM обрабатывает ~35Kpps (в обе стороны) если пакетов больше - начинает их терять причем независимо от остальных интерфейсов (те выключены они или включены - все равно)

 

Если их выключить пулинг - начинаются траблы с прерываниями - те комп просто уходит в ступор ни на что не откликаясь.

 

Загрузка камня в пулинге 30-35% по top.SMP ядро. Танцы с бубном вокруг sysctl вообще ничего не дают!!!!!. При выключеном SMP картина таже тока камень загружен на 50%.

 

Может кто чего подскажет? Frebsd 6.1 камень PIV - 3Ghz HT.

dmesg. fxp0 - просто стоит в пулинге не участвует и ничего в нее не воткнуто.

Спасибо пакеты перестали терятся.

Но. При одном таком условии ядро SMP и

machdep.hyperthreading_allowed=0

Если ядро не SMP пакеты все одно теряются.

Интересная ситуация. :(
