Не работает опция ms-dns в pppd (pptpd)

в настройках сервера: 

ms-dns 100.64.96.1

 


у клиента

  

usepeerdns


Уже всю голову сломал, почему не работает 😞

 

На сервере RedHat 8.7

На клиенте Ubuntu 18.04

 

пакеты из стандартных реп

в настройках сервера: 

ms-dns 100.64.96.1

 

Сам дурак. Надо было в /etc/ppp/options.pptpd прописывать а не в /etc/pptpd.conf
