CentOS 6.9 не видит intel i350

Новый сервер на R1304SPOSHORR, CentOS 6.9 упрямо не видит сетевуху i350 на PCI-ex.

lspci возвращает только i210(на материнке).

История довольно путаная - изначально поставил CentOS 6.8 с диска - i350 не видел, видел только "набортные" i210.

После шаманства с BIOS (включил в Server management BMC Plug and Play) i350 увидел.

Обрадовался.. Сделал yum update - получил в итоге CentOS 6.9, ядро 2.6.32-696.16.1.el6.x86_64 и отсутствие i350..

И всё.. Никакие шаманства более не возвращают её. Пробовал грузится со старым ядром, ставил дрова (с epel и с оффсайта intel) - бесполезно.. Драйвера пробовал собирать из исходников, также собирал rpmbuld-ом, пробовал с тремя версиями (родные, самую свежую и более древнюю) - ни алё.. :(

Пробовал удалять физически i350, потом ребут, потом снова ставил (надеялся, что обнаружит "новое оборудование") - ничего..

В логах (dmesg/messages/boot.log) ничего криминального на эту тему не увидел.

Зашёл в тупик..

 

P.S. BIOS также апдейтил, ничего не дало..

P.S. Есть сомнение - может у меня перестаёт работать НЕ сетевая карта на PCI-ex, а вообще весь PCI-ex?

А вобще, какой резон такой древний centos использовать, если centos7 уже года 3?

Гм.. Вы первый пост читали? Там, где про первый старт и ядро.

"Древний centos" нужен для создания клона железки. Далеко не факт, что без шаманства всё соберётся и взлетит на 7-ке..

Да и пробовал уже 7-ку, как раз где-то года два тому назад, не помню точно, что конкретно (вроде бондинг) не взлетело на нём, но 100% помню, что пришлось делать срочно откат к 6.7.

Возможно, конечно, что за это время уже всё отполировали, но.. Очень не люблю играться со свежими багами, предпочитаю родные старые. :)

Совсем недавно собирал подобную железку на 6.9. Без всяких проблем. Единственное отличие было в том, что на PCI была не i350, а старая добрая 82576.

 

Сейчас для проверки попробую 7-й навернуть.. Вдруг повезёт..

Роутинг, DNS, NAT, netflow. В перспективе ещё и биллинг (древний, как то самое дерьмо мамонта :-)).

Сетевухи надо в бондинг (LACP).

Поставил CentOS 7 - те же яйца.. Один-в-один.. :(

Может быть всё же дело не в сетевухе, а в собственно PCI-e, или каких-то особенностях платформы/BIOS?

Забыл один момент - в самом начале, когда игрался с 6.8, я пробовал ставить довольно древнюю сетевуху (82572), так она тоже не виделась..

Сейчас нет больше ничего другого из PCI-e, чтобы проверить..

Слишком просто.. 33 раза была вставлена/вынута, и с рейзером и без.

Добавлю сразу ещё, что она 100% рабочая, т.к. на древнем десктопе и древнем центосе взлетела без вопросов.

 

P.S. Только-что на свежем CentOS 7 снова заменил i350 на 82572 - результат аналогичный!

Судя по всему, проблема не в CentOS и не в сетевой карте, а либо в прошивке BIOS, или в материнке..

Нашёл PCI-ex видюху NVIDIA - также не видна ни в lspci, ни в lshw.

Сейчас задача вычислить одно из двух (BIOS/mainboard).

Как бы это сделать со 100% гарантией?

"Виделась" всего два-три раза. И то, только виделась, до настройки дело дойти не успевало - после ребута всё успешно "исчезало".

Без рейзера тоже не виделась. Но без рейзера проверял только i350, 82572 сетевуху и видюху проверял только с рейзером.

Во всех случаях было такое ощущение, что на карту не подаётся какое-то "мощное" питание, т.к. все карточки оставались "холодными", 

в прямом смысле слова. Отсюда и мысль о том, что на рейзере возможно должен находится управляемый источник питания, детали которого на нём отсутствуют.

Но это всё только предположения..

Меня смущает что не видно Xeon E3-1200 v5/E3-1500 v5/6th Gen Core Processor PCIe Controller (x16)

Такое чувство что выключен PCIe в проце.

На Супермикро в биосе видно только так: 

Pcie: GEN2

Pcie link: x8

AlKov От Intel матерей нет, только супермикры. Но судя по мануалу там можно включать/выключать PCIe порты.

К сожалению не могу уже глянуть что есть в биосе на связке  Intel Xeon E3-1220v5 + X11SSL-F
