Есть сервер supermicro с установленной:

Пробовал тюнить, пробовал отключать встроенный web и telnet, пробовал менять в конфиге время на реконнект - все равно никак и никуда.

 

Кто как боролся с этим?

У меня глюки с mpd5, установленного посредством pkg исчезли после того, как mpd5 был странслирован из исходников, взятых с их сайта или из портов.

у  автора падения в ip_input что более серьезнее, чем по ссылке баг в netgraph-е

Преимущественно да. Пару раз, после внепланового отключения света были жалобы на диск (кора при проверке диска - лечилось в single user mode). Остальное одинаково. Падает с периодичность - либо раз в день, либо раз в 3 дня, либо может неделю, две, месяц проработать, а потом на тебе и кора.
Мое мнение - это что-то типа атаки на машину из сети, т.к.:

1. изначально это было замечено в версии 7.4 - переустановил ОС на 10.3
2. Это было замечено на сервере, который отработал около 5 лет - произвели замену на новый сервер
3. Новое железо валится, а другие сервера нет.

Лечилось без ребута через ipkvm задиранием данного параметра, потом была паника.

и есть баг репорт с возможным решением проблемы, но без явного фикса со стороны исходников

как видим проблема там не в mpd и нетграфе

 

попробуйте засабмитить баг репорт, все же о проблеме должны знать разработчики
