Есть роутер Cisco 6500 с парой SUP720-3B, при установке WS-X6748-GE-TX получаю ругань вида:

а что статус unknown так и остается?

 

у нас было такое на одном модуле WS-X6708 при переезде с 6500 SUP720 на 7600 RSP 720,

This test verifies that the multicast functionality of the replication engine is working properly. The replication engine is configured to perform multicast replication of a diagnostic packet onto two different VLANs. After the diagnostic packet is sent out from the supervisor engine's inband port, the test verifies that two packets are received back in the inband port on the two VLANs configured in the replication engine.

 

решилось тем, что заменили глючный 6708 на такой же, но с более новой HW ревизией из соседнего 6500. "Глючный" модуль поставили в 6500 - полет нормальный, ошибок нет.

но сообщение о ошибке остается

Это весьма похоже на баг CSCuz60556 в IOS (см. https://quickview.cloudapps.cisco.com/quickview/bug/CSCuz60556 ). Этот баг исправлен в IOS 15.3(3)S9, 15.5(3)S4.

 

Также Cisco рекомендует при этом отключить немного фильтров:

 

no mls rate-limit multicast ipv4 fib-miss
no mls rate-limit multicast ipv4 non-rpf
